Reported by Shargh Media Group, Mohammad Bandarabbasi:
Sheida Yousefi is currently known for her role as “Mehri” in the series Sovoshun. Her artistic journey has been a path filled with diverse milestones—from the days she worked as a script supervisor on notable productions to her acting experiences in various film and television projects. Despite her growing fame, she can still walk the streets, visit a café, and engage in quiet conversations.

In this interview, Yousefi talks about her artistic path, her experience acting in Sovoshun, and her connection with the role of Mehri.

You are currently acting in the series Sovoshun, which is one of several projects you’ve done in home entertainment platforms. Could you first tell us about your previous series such as Mamnooeh (Forbidden), Malakeh Gedayan (Queen of Beggars), Aghrab Ashegh (Loving Scorpion), and Arezoohaye Chapaki (Sneaky Wishes), which is currently airing, and how do you view this new series?

Yes. Including reality shows, this is my fifth or sixth experience in home entertainment. But each of these works, in my view, has been a distinct piece in the puzzle of my artistic experiences. I consider every role I have accepted as a step toward my personal growth. None of them are insignificant, and I have always tried to learn something new from each team and project.

Considering your previous experiences, how do you see Sovoshun in the context of your serial works?

Sovoshun is special to me in several ways. First, the story and the character of Mehri are very close to what I had imagined and read in my mind. Second, the environment created by the director and the production team has motivated me to learn more deeply than in any previous project. This collaboration has created an experience beyond ordinary acting for me.
